Who doesn’t love an all around, broke, quiet gelding? And one that is a handsome golden palomino to boot!? Harvey is as reliable as a Honda Civic and as pretty as a Mercedes!! ALL the bells and whistles you could ever wish for wrapped up in a pretty yellow package with this fancy guy. Harvey is a clean cut, stylish 7-year-old palomino gelding that is sure to impress even the most critical eye. He is as shapey as they come, he is as level headed as the day is long, and he is undeniably safe in every scenario or situation. Harvey is so gentle and so broke that we regularly ride him with NO bridle!! Even when we’re outside on rugged trail rides, we can enjoy riding Harvey bridleless! (hint: watch video) Harvey rides through tumultuous rivers without batting an eye and he goes over rocky, jagged ground with sureness. Harvey’s favorite food is tater tots, so we made sure to ride him through town and straight to Sonic so he could snack on his favorite treat! He loved all the attention he got, and the car-hop (errr, horse-hop??) adored Harvey’s sweet personality. This guy is easy going, confident, and he knows it all! Harvey neck reins with ease, he responds to your seat & feet, and is very soft mouthed. This one doesn’t need new brake pads anytime soon! Harvey stops as soon as you touch the brakes, and he does it without making a squeek! Harvey quietly walks with his head down, has a slow jog, fluid trot, and rocking horse lope that is comfy in either lead. While Harvey is always down to take a relaxing stroll, he’s also always up for a work day. He has ample experience being used on the ranch, and at the sale barn to pen other horses, goats, and sheep. On the ranch this gelding has done it all. From checking cattle, to just checking the mail for the amazon package you’ve been waiting for, he is SOLID! Harvey is not one to shy away from anything asked of him. Harvey will work harder than your best help to get any task at hand done, and he’ll do it without a single complaint! This guy is sure to be a useful asset in most ANYONES barn. And just when you think it can’t get any better, it does!! On top of riding like a million bucks, Harvey is just as good on the ground!, Harvey is, hands down, the kindest, most friendly, and most people loving horse I have EVER been around. Whether you’re in a 100 acre pasture or a stall, and no matter if you have treats or a halter waiting for him, he will meet you at the gate EVERY-SINGLE-TIME! He is way more interested in being your friend than running off with his equine buddies. Harvey is just like a big puppy dog. He’s got an in your pocket personality, and he loves to be loved on. This guy is the definition of a dream horse! You will not be able to find a gelding that is more tried and true than this one. He gets along great with other horses, and does not have a mean bone in his body. Harvey does not have any ill mannered habits such as bucking, biting, cribbing, or setting back. Harvey stands at 15 hands and is all there. This gelding is extremely well built and he will last a lifetime. He is up to date on all shots, shoeing, and worming. He is SOUND, comes with a clean bill of health, a current coggins, and a giftcard to get all the tatertots his heart desires at his new home!
