Jewel

Jewel is a stunning 10yr old purebred, revised, Andalusian / PRE ANCCE mare. She stands just shy of 15.2hh with a lot of substance to her. She is stark white, boasts a beautiful head, loaded with shape, and is a fancy fancy mover. Her conformation is absolutely correct in every way. Her pedigree speaks for itself and is packed with National Champions on both sides. This mare started training in her younger years in harness and we were told she was shown in harness as well. Although she was not started under saddle until much later in life, she now has a solid year of riding under her belt and has proven to be consistent even with time off. Jewel is incredibly smart, willing and absolutely loves to work. She is soft, supple, works off leg, will collect up or move out, and is incredibly smooth & comfortable to ride. She is a sensitive and physical horse that does require a soft rider with feel. There is absolutely ZERO silliness to this horse, she does nothing wrong, but with a hard rider she will get tense. That being said, she is uncomplicated and easy, soft, quiet & supple with a rider with a soft seat and soft hands. She has carried the flag, has worked ground poles & obstacles, jumped some cross rails, you can crack the bullwhip on her, and she works great in high traffic and crowded arenas. She rides the same in a snaffle or a bridle bit, being really good with leverage or direct contact. Not only does Jewel ride & drive but she is also a proven broodmare. She has put 3 incredible colts on the ground, 2 registered ANCCE colts and one warlander colt. She is a huge asset in a breeding program for PREs, cross breds or sport horses. She can be kicked out to raise colts, and happy to return back to work. She has wonderful ground manners. Stalls great or happily lives outside. Great with other horses, cross ties or stands tied all day long, bathes and clips like a seasoned show horse, great for the vet and farrier, and always eager and happy to be caught and spend anytime she can with you. Jewel is and has always been 100% in every way. Easy keeper that requires no special cares or maintenance of any kind. She is clean legged, no scars or blemishes to be found, great feet, and was fully vetted & x-rayed prior to entering our program. She is UTD on all cares including teeth and coggins.
