Fred is a 2019 registered quarter horse and he stands 14.2 hands tall and is just about as wide. He has tons of shape and substance wrapped up in that neat roan coat, cowboy color that everyone looks for. Fred has been used outside as a ranch horse for most of his life. He has pushed cattle on the ranch, sorted pairs, roped/doctored as well and ridden many miles checking fence. On trail he’s extremely brave and sure footed. Just point him in any direction you want and he’ll cross anything in his path, from boggy mud to deadfall or deep water… he will handle it all with ease and confidence. Fred is well trained in the bridle as he will trot and lope around one handed. He takes his leads, has a good stop, will turn a circle both ways and backs with ease.
