Journey is a 15.1 hand 14 year old Mustang mare, yes you read that right, but don’t fret because she will be more tame and kinder than your house cat ! Journey has spent her lifetime being a sophisticated citizen, from being a beloved trail horse, to being a full time payed employee at an English lesson barn, and even dabbling in some 4H shows ! She’s a women of many jobs, if you want the opportunity to say “I own a Mustang” and I don’t mean a GT500, than Journey is your gal! Don’t ever worry about carrying a bucket of grain or a laso, because if you whistle or she sees you, Journey will be the first to greet you ! Keep her outside or indoors, in a stall she’s quiet, and even poops in one corner ! She stands tied, or in cross ties, stands to be saddled, brushed, clipped, or whatever your heart desires ! She’s great for the farrier and has the true American made mustang hoofs, she’s barefoot and can stay barefoot, or she will pack a set of shoes no problem ! Tack her up English or western, she is trained in both disciplines. She will walk trot and lope with ease, she catches her leads and has a very appealing jog, with a rocking chair Lope. she’s got a good whoa and back, and can ride on a loose rein. Journey is stout made and is solid enough for any size rider. She has been used In lessons and stays calm and kind with beginners or put an experienced rider on her and ask her to be fancy ! She has been started over cross rails and would also make a nice beginner lower level jump mount ! Journey rides bridless, and even has had a junior trick rider on her and let her perform without any hesitation. Trail riding ? Trick riding? Obstacle courses ? Lower level jumping ? 4H shows ?
