Kalona

Meet Kalona who is sired by the legendary Roshwango. He is a grade Friesian Sport Horse. Kalona stands a handy 15.2 at 5 years old and is a gentle but yet elegant boy. He is sure to leave any and everyone in his presence in awe. Kalona is a very classy looking solid bay. This gelding moves very gracefully at the walk trot and canter. His gaits are fluid and smooth. His canter in particular is one of the smoothest I’ve ever sat on. He comes equipped with effortless transitions both upward and down. He moves off seat and leg ques side passes leg yeilds and stops on a dime all while having a soft snaffle mouth. Kalona has a solid foundation in dressage and has easy flying changes. He’s a smart boy who’s more than willing to please. He jumps full courses with easy. He will not look at new jumps, flowers, or fill. He is the same horse on the property as he is off the property. You will not have to spend hours schooling him to have a great ride. Kalona is also broke to drive he’s been down dirt roads around the farm and to town. He is road and traffic safe. He would make an excellent horse for a ladies cart class or just pleasure type driving. Because of his willing and steady demeanor he has also been used to sort cows, rope off of move goats sheep and other livestock around the farm. This is a gelding who’s handier than my John Deere Gator! Kalona has a kind and expressive eye he loves people and his manners are A+. He will meet you at the pasture gate every day! He stands tied for grooming tacking harnessing hooking mounting and dismounting. He is broke all around in just about any discipline you may want to go in and he is extremely user friendly. Not only is he well breed and beautiful he’s also kind and very rideable. At just 5 years old this gelding is wise beyond his years and has a lifetime ahead of him. He will excel in the show ring, hunters, equitation, jumpers, fox hunting, in harness dressage, or out on the trails as a fun brave and elegant mount. Kalona is one in a million.
