KD Packing Pistols

“KD Packing Pistols” just turned 6, foaled May 17th 2018. Pistol is a 15 hand, stunningly handsome, registered gypsy/quarter cross gelding. We think he definitely got the best of both breeds with all his grulia color, shape, substance and conformation! Pistol is soft in your hands, picks up his leads, floats through his gaits, neck reins, side passes and slides to a stop. This accomplished young gelding is gentle & kind, but most importantly, he is SAFE! Pistol does know a day’s work, sorting and penning back livestock and dragging calves in the branding pen. He’s an experienced ranch head horse and has been started out of the box with 60 or so steers to date. Pistol is solid and reliable on the trail and in the mountains and will without hesitation, cross deadfalls, rocks and rivers. He has packed and been packed and loves every bit of it! Every level of rider has been on this guy’s back, in the arena and out in the country. Pistol’s all-time favorite things are kids and water! We often find him with both front legs in the water trough and would, if he could, be all in! This once in a lifetime gelding is 100% broke, gentle and sound. Vet checks are welcomed.
