Little Bit A Sun

Little Bit A Sun is a 2014 model registered AQHA Dun Gelding. We can not explain enough just how simply amazing this gelding is! Dunny is truly one in a million and we believe his new family will agree. Ropings to rodeos, barrels to trails, this boy does it all! He is big, stout and a head turner all in one. Dunny is a perfect gentleman and has been raised by our family since he was a yearling. He is very easy to handle, stands for everything from shoeing to saddling. He loads like a dream and hauls good with other horses and cattle. He stays turned out with 4 other geldings and a mini pony, gets along good with mares as well and does fine in a stall. We took him on a month long summer rodeo run earlier this year and he was fantastic. He did great tied to the trailer and took in all the sights and noises of a new busy fairground every single day. He is a finished head horse, for any roper to go on with. He is very quiet in the box, leaves flat and smooth and makes a pretty move in the field. Dunny is the same every single run whether its one steer at a rodeo or 15 steers at a roping! Out on the trail he is a blast to ride! Dunny goes through and over anything you point him towards. He loves water and is always eager to go. We have given numerous lessons on him as well. He is kid, grandparent, in-laws and husband safe and is absolutely bombproof. Dunny will go through all the playday patterns. He is easy to go through the barrels on, never gets hot in the alley, and goes any pace that he is asked to go. Dunny is pretty enough, and classy enough to go to the show pen as well and would be great at that as well. He has a beautiful walk/trot/ lope and very easy smooth transitions. He lopes out of your hand like butter and moves off your legs perfectly. Dunny is strong and athletic with the looks to boot. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect horse and it has been a very hard decision to part with him.
