MAX

“Max” stands 14.2hh and is 6 years old. He is a grade welsh pony cross. Max is very easy to get along with, great with time off and in your pocket. He has a great handle- moves off your leg, flexes, has a slow spin, big stop and knows his leads. He will load himself into the trailer without you walking in with him, stands tied all day and is great for bathes and the farrier. He is lightly started on the barrel pattern and has been hauled to several jackpots for exhibitions as well as state parks and other arenas for pleasure riding. We have been working on laying down on command with the goal to lay down at the tap of his knee, but he does need a little more practice. He is very treat/food driven and smart as a whip. He would work well for a someone looking for a trail horse or a barrel/roping prospect. Handles new sounds and scenery with ease. Easy keeper on just coastal or feed him alfalfa and grain- whatever fits your feed program he isn’t picky. He is selling sound.
