Merlot

Merlot is a beautiful red roan mare standing 16.2 hands tall with enough mass to pull a house down. We normally call horses like her the perfect beer drinking horse but this mare is so classy we call her a wine drinking horse. Merlot is a sweet mare that is gentle and kind. She lowers her head to be haltered and bridled. She saddles up like a lady every day and is the perfect mount to jump on and go down the trails, or hook up and drive to town. She will cross all the obstacles we have found including water, logs, brush, and mud and will go up and down even the toughest of terrain with sure footedness. She will lead, follow, or go out on her own. She loads and unloads with ease and stands tied. Merlot will stand at the mounting block, cross tie, and is good stalled or turned out. We have never seen her show any mare tendencies. She is barefoot and sound with clean/straight legs. She is a stunning mare with chrome and mass that you have to see in person to appreciate!
