Monty

Monty is a big 2022 model, jet black draft cross gelding standing 16.1 hands with a perfect blaze and hind socks. Monty is broke to drive and ride Western and English. Gentle and good minded are first and foremost. He is a solid ranch horse that has been used to doctor cattle in the wheat fields all over Texas and New Mexico. He is strong to the horn and will work the rope. Monty is exceptional at everything we have done with him. He is smart, athletic, and has the best brain you could ask for in a horse. He floats through his gaits and is a complete natural under English tack and over fences. He is very soft to cues, has great upward and downward transitions and will lope off with a simple kiss. Monty has seen tons of traffic, semis, freeways, towns etc and handles it all like a veteran. There isn’t anything we think Monty would refuse to do if you ask him to. He will give you his all every single time you step on him. He is very friendly and has a big personality. He is well mannered, good with his feet, ties/hauls/pastures like a gentleman.
