Wild Spade Ranch is proud to offer you this extraordinary gelding we call Moose! He is 15.1hh tall and stout as you can get one! Moose is the perfect age of 13, with age comes experience. Moose got his name from the ranch he came off of in Colorado. He was previously a pack/guide horse on a large outfit up there. Moose carried riders of all ages, from beginners to more advanced, as well as wild game. He has been an excellent lesson, trail and all around fun rides for us since he came to Texas! This guy has a wonderful personality, and is as easy to get along with as you can find one! Moose stands like a champ to be saddled, for the farrier, and loves a bath. He will load into anything you ask him too, easy to catch and doesn’t mind a stall or pasture! Moose is extremely smooth, walk, trots and lopes both directions with ease! He goes wherever you ask him to go, he doesn’t mind traffic and stops and stands wherever. We can help arrange delivery to any where in the United States, even Hawaii and Canada as well.
