My Snippy Frost

My Snippy Frost aka “Pal” is an 8yr old, 15hh, jet black, AQHA-registered gelding that is easy on the eyes and easy to get along with. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, a beginner or a professional, this gelding will fit your riding ability and help fulfill whatever dreams you may have in the saddle. Pal is a finished ranch horse that has spent his entire life in the northern part of the country before coming to Texas. He’s fantastic in rocky country if you need to go scouting and will sure enough watch a cow in the pens. Pal has also been used as a head horse in the arena and spent some time getting started on the heeling dummy as well. His physical abilities and talent on cattle isn’t a coincidence either. Pal is by the last standing son of Frosty Feature and out of a dam whose pedigree is littered with good-minded ranch and rope horses going back to the great Lowry Star. Don’t need a performance or using horse? Pal will still fit the bill. Not only does his pedigree offer exceptional talent, but the gentleness and willingness to please that is also known to be passed on in his pedigree was not lost on Pal. He is happily content going out for a trail ride, alone or in a group setting, and will tackle whatever you may come across: long/old bridges, water crossings, bikers, runners, escapee cattle that you have to herd back to where they belong… all of it is an enjoyable walk in the park to Pal. If you’re looking to have some fun in the arena too, you won’t sit on a smoother or easier-to-ride horse. Pal’s trot is easy to sit or post along with, he has a lope that rocking horses envy, and he has excellent body control. He will ride on 6ft of rein without ever taking advantage and is the type of horse that you just have to think where you want to go because he’ll listen to your body cues without fail. He’s been hauled to barrel racings and roping to take in the sights and sounds and has never faltered no matter the amount of chaos. Pal would be an exceptional candidate to take to the ranch and stock horse shows even if you’re an amateur just looking to have some fun on the weekends with friends as he’s an uncomplicated ride to do it all on and will no doubt catch the judge’s eyes. On the ground, Pal stands like a statue for everything and like his name insinuates, just wants to be your Pal. He has no blemishes of any kind aside from a very small, old scar up on the fleshy part of his right hindquarters. It does not affect him in any way and he has never taken a lame step. Pal has good, solid feet and can go barefoot. He does have a full set on currently, but that’s just due to personal preference with our horses.
