Otis

Otis is a registered 2018 model APHA Gelding that stands 14.3 hands and is as wide as he is tall I have had the Honor of taking this horse in on consignment for a very good friend of mine! Otis was purchased as a weanling right off his mother by the older gentleman that still owns him today! He has done every ounce of training with Otis from halter breaking, First Ride, to the finishing touches of the wonderful horse he is today!! He was in training and rode lightly as a 2 year and then brought back in his 3yo year for consistent riding. His 4 year old year he was used in the stockyards pushing hundreds of head of cattle each week and also went on numerous trail rides all over the United States including the Shawnee national forest in Illinois, Bradshaw and Catalina Mountain ranges in Arizona, and the Buffalo Bill ranch … Otis has no vices he is easy to catch , saddles with ease, stands great for mounting and dismounting from either side, and stands tied quietly. Otis does great with Loading, hauling, and backs off the trailer great. He also does great in camping situations whether you need to hobble him, put him on a picket line or in stall he does it all with ease! He has wonderful ground manners and gets along well in the pasture with other mares and geldings. For the past 60 days this gelding has been in our barn and I have had the privilege to ride, video, and picture Otis because the older gentleman is not up to date with technology. We have exposed him to everything we can possibly think of and he has taken it all with ease!!! Be sure to watch the whole video and pictures and you will see for yourself!!!
