Pie

Pie is a 9 year old, 15.2 hand QH gelding. Pie is a big, upstanding gelding and built like one should be! He is a career trail riding machine. He has been on countless day and overnight camping trips all over Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio. He is a seasoned horse that goes where you point him with no questions asked. He will lead the group, ride in the middle, or pull up the rear. If you want to leave the group, he will happily do that as well. Pie is sure footed. Steps over logs, goes easily up and down banks, and crosses creeks and rivers. Pie was trained to be an amble along, safe, trail riding horse that you can relax on and enjoy the day. He walks along nicely and will jog/trot. That’s where he is happiest. Will lope with encouragement but prefers the slower gaits! He is traffic safe and has been in numerous parades as well. He is happy to ride every day, or just get him out on the weekends for some relaxing, fun rides. Pie and sweet and friendly. He has an old scar on his right hind pastern, but he is 100% sound and it does not affect him in any way. Happy to provide pictures to anyone interested!
