Poco Jacintas Spirit aka “Jaci” is a 2019, 14.1H AQHA Dun Mare. She has seen more country than most older horses and is the perfect horse for anyone to take in absolutely any direction! As she is right now, she’s the perfect flashy, safe and fancy trail horse but she has the potential to be an athlete if that’s the direction you want to go! Jaci is extremely smart, gentle and kind and has the same “get to work” attitude every time you swing a leg over her. She knows how to handle a rope, has doctored calves and been roped on in the pasture. This mare has a ton of heart and will make someone very happy! Jaci has enough speed when asked and would make a barrel prospect as well! She is solid minded with all things and you can trust she’ll handle any new situation you throw her. The video of her in the Fort Worth Stockyards was the first time Jaci has ever been to town or been around cars and motorcycles. She didn’t take one step out of place and acted like she had been there 100 times. You can trust this mare to take care of you anywhere you take her. She’s extremely willing to learn and we see her excelling as a breakaway/heel horse or speed event prospect. BUT if all you want is quiet, easy going trail horse, Jaci will fill those shoes perfectly too! She rides like one should, neck reins with ease, is extremely light in the face, and move off your leg perfectly! She was started by a cutter and she definitely has the handle you need to go on with one! She is absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t do her justice! She’s the perfect buttermilk dun with the tiger legs and she will catch eyes anywhere you decide to take her. Jaci loads, leads, bathes, ties and stands great. She picks up her feet gentle and is easy to get along with in all aspects! We’ve had her turned out and stalled and either way she is happy. She’s not marish when out with other horses and if you didn’t know it, you’d think she was a gelding! Jaci stays barefoot and has zero extra maintenance!
