Popeye

Popeye is a very well built, 14 hand buckskin gelding. He has all the confirmation, looks and demeanor you can ask for. Popeye is extremely gentle on the ground and on his back. He has went through our program and past with flying colors. Popeye has a lot of disciplines. He has been roped on, has done numerous 4-h shows, has been ridden by an 8 year old boy tracking steers out of the box as well. Popeye has all brains and try you can ask for he will keep up with all the big horses and do his job with ease. Popeye has been trail ridden all over the country, he’s been to state parks, over night camping trips, parades etc. Popeye will go through the rough sticky mud, over fallen logs, up and down steep rocky terrain, crosses creeks with ease. He is very sure footed with anything you do with him. He has a very nice, collected walk, trot, cantor, stops nice and backs up with ease. Popeye is absolutely safe for the whole family to ride and will take care of his rider. Popeye is 100% sound with no bad habits or vices. He is easy to catch in the pasture and also stalls very well.
