WOW! Look at the beautiful steel gray color on this guy. You can’t ask for more eye appeal then this guy, with a big dapple-gray hip and perfect conformation. Soldier is a tall drink of water standing 15.3 hands and weighs 1200lb. But gentle and as sweet as they come. Don’t worry about his height he will side pass to a log, gate, picnic table, or rock for mounting and dismounting. This gelding neck reins, moves off leg pressure, side passes, and turns around on his hindquarters, smooth and correct. He’s been used to gather cattle in the pasture and push cattle in the stock yard. Soldier is also started on the barrel pattern, but would make a great ranch or English show horse. He would make a great mounted shooting as well and is great around .45 cal gun fire. Soldier also enjoys trail riding, he’s spent many miles packing saddle bags and he maneuvers all trail obstacles, with no spook or hesitation. He is sure footed in the rough rock areas, tugs his way through deep boggy mud and wades out into deep rivers. He will give confidence to even the most timid rider and is the perfect family horse. You couldn’t ask for better ground manners. He stands for saddling, bathing, clipping and for the farrier. He will kindly drop his head to make bridling an ease. Soldier is always the first to meet you at the gate and gets along with others in the field. He’s 100% sound and up to date on vaccinations.
