Meet Red! Here’s a kids pony deluxe. This little guy has thousands of hours being ridden and handled by kids. If your kids can dream it up I’m betting Red has been asked to do it. Red is a 9 year old Shetland Paint pony cross who stands a stout 12hh. He’s just the perfect size for the little ones to groom tack and love on but he’s big enough for the big kiddos and small adults to hop on as well. Red is a beautiful chestnut and white paint with a thick mane and tail to die for! He is a quiet natured guy who’s very simple to walk and trot and will move into a canter with a solid kick. He will not run off with small kids and is a kind slow and Patient teacher. Kids can catch lead and groom him alone. This little guy comes with a resume a mile long. He has worked on a ranch out west. He’s been asked to round up and rope cows twice his size and he will gladly get the job done. Red is also no stranger to the trails. He’s been in deep water, heavily wooded areas, seen wildlife, rough terrain and he is game to take his riders where ever they want to go. Red has also worked at an English riding barn and has taught many kids the ropes of arena work. He will jump small jumps as well. This is a hard pony to find as he’s just as broke as any big horse but yet comes in a pint sized package. He is also awesome in a back yard and will ride around the swing set down the drive way around the kids toys or whatever bright ideas your kids may come up with.
