Remember Rita

Remember Rita is a 9-year-old registered sorrel mare. She stands 14.2 and weighs around 1100 pounds. She’s as stout as they come and easy on the eyes. Rita was born and raised on the Pitzer Ranch and packs the brands to prove it, she would make a great broodmare with the names she carries around on her pedigree in due time, she has tons and tons of miles left on the tires. She’s sound and rides around the best. Rita has been successfully shown in ranch trail and other ranch type classes. She’s as broke as you can get. She’s been trail rode by a young girl all over the Midwest as well as shown in ranch pleasure classes, if you can sit in the saddle and hold a set of reins, you can ride this mare!! She’s also a finished heel horse, she will sit in the box quiet as a church mouse all day long. Rita would excel as a breakaway horse, with her age she would take your kid to a lot of pay windows through the ranks of youth rodeos and onto college. Her height is perfect to tie goats too, there’s no doubt if someone stepped off of her a few times, the other girls would be begging to run a few on her. She’s a SAINT, my 3 boys have proved that! You can rope 15 on her out of the box, loosen the saddle, and she will walk right off. She knows a full day of work and will be at the gate to greet you. She’s a sweet mare that doesn’t mind much, she bathes, loads, clips, stalls well, drinks/eats on the road, sound, and sane. No matter what you’re looking for, this versatile mare will look great doing whatever she’s called to do.
