Rocket

We are proud to introduce you to “Rocket” he is a beautifully marked and beautifully put together tri-colored Paint gelding. Rocket stands 14.1hh at 5 years old. This pony is one of a kind and he is loaded with personality. Rocket comes equipped with every button you could ever ask for in a horse or even a dog for that matter! He comes when called, sits, bows, lays down with the tap of a foot, and can even count! This gelding has been trail ridden all over Michigan and will cross water bridges, ride along the road, and in the woods. He’s always game for a road trip to see a new park, as he loves adventures. If you come across a scenic spot and you feel inclined to sit down and soak in the views Rocket is more than happy to join you! Rocket has been trained with all natural horsemanship methods and with that being said he moves off of seat and leg ques like an old pro. Bareback and bridle-less or saddled and bridled, whatever suits you Rocket will ride the same either way. He has an easy walk, a smooth jog, and will lope from the halt- taking either lead effortlessly. He side passes, leg yields, pivots, spins, and has his flying changes down. Talk about brakes; lean back, say whoa, and he can stop on a dime! Rocket has all the foundations to make it in the show ring. He has been started over fences and jumps in great form. He holds a nice canter to the jumps and will not peek at anything. He’s been jumped inside and out! Rocket has been taken on several hunter paces and loves it! He has also been exposed to all aspects of ranch work and is happy to do a full days work! We wish we could find a ranch hand who is as handy and eager as he is!! He has been used to sort cows, gather the goats, pony other horses, and do just about any other job you may want to do. I can go on and on about this horse but at 4 years old he’s got his entire lifetime ahead of him. He is all ready better broke than most horses twice his age! He has been ridden, loved on, and exposed to just about anything you can think of! Rocket can go in ANY direction you want or he could just be some very lucky family’s new best friend!
