Roxy

We are proud to introduce you to “Roxy,” she’s a beautifully marked and beautifully put together tri-colored paint mare. Roxy stands 15hh at 5 years old. This mare is 1 of a kind and ones like her are hard to find! She’s also loaded with personality. Roxy comes equipped with every button you could ever ask for in a horse, or even a dog for that matter! She comes when called, sits, bows, lays down with the tap of a foot, and can even count! This mare has been trail ridden all over Michigan and will cross water bridges, ride along the road, and ride in the woods. She’s always game for a road trip to see a new park, as she loves adventures. If you come across a scenic spot and you feel inclined to sit down and soak in the views, Roxy is more than happy to join you! Roxy has been trained with all natural horsemanship methods. With that being said, she moves off of seat and leg ques like an old pro. Bareback, bridle-less saddled, bridled, what ever suits you, Roxy will ride the same either way. She has an easy walk, a smooth jog, and will lope from the halt, taking either lead effortlessly. She side passes, leg yields, pivots, spins, and has her flying changes down. Talk about breaks, lean back and say whoa and she can stop on a dime! Roxy has all the foundation to make it in the reining world! She’s also been exposed to all aspects of ranch work and is happy to do a days work! We wish we could find a ranch hand who is as handy and eager as her!! She has been used to sort cows, gather the goats, pony other horses, and just about any other job you may want done. A weekend hunting trip? Sure, she’s game! I can go on and on about this mare, but at 5 years old she’s got her entire lifetime ahead of her and is all ready better broke than most horses twice her age! She’s been ridden, loved on, and exposed to just about anything you can think of! Roxy could go ANY direction you want or she could just be some very lucky family’s new best friend! She’s suitable for almost any job and almost any rider!
