Traffic is the perfect age and the perfect height at 15H and 11 years old. He has seen miles and miles and miles of country and knows how to put in a days work. This guy is the same day in and day out and doesn’t matter if you use him every day, once a week, or once a month – he knows his job and is solid and easy. He has a good working handle and nice neck rein, good stop, and he will walk out for miles and miles relaxed with his head down on a long loose rein. Traffic loves being loaded up anywhere you want to go! He would work for someone to get started in the roping pen or the playdays or the barrels, he has been roped on quite a bit in the pens and out in the pasture. Traffic loves going into town and is just about as relaxed as one could be around the road and crowded traffic areas. He has also been on many trail rides on all sorts of terrain. He is good minded and willing at anything you put in front of him. Loves getting in the water. He lives outside with a group of geldings and is always easy to catch, he leads and ties quietly, is easy to pick feet, groom, bathe, saddle and bridle, and he stands dead still for mount and dismount. He hops right on the trailer with no hesitation, hauls quietly, backs off slow and gentle, and ties to the side of the trailer anywhere. This is the solid all-around gelding we get tons of calls on. Traffic was just shod two weeks ago, and he had his teeth done by our equine dentist last week, at that time his ears were preemptively treated for ticks, his sheath was cleaned, and he was also power packed wormed. He is good to shoe, has great large dark feet and also goes well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled and trim him prior to him heading to his new home.
