“Scooter” – 14.2H, 11 year old golden palomino/chestnut Haflinger gelding. We could sell 10 horses every single week like Scooter – we get calls asking for his kind – daily. If you want one that your kiddos ask to ride everyday and really enjoy and are relaxed riding, then don’t miss him! He is so fun, pleasant and easy. He is just the whole package that everyone is looking for in a pleasure and trail horse – he is thick made, stout, and the perfect size that is easy to saddle, easy to step up on, comfy and not intimidating for the new or the smaller riders. He measure only at 14.2H – but looks way bigger! He has a huge barrel, and he is stout and thick enough made to handle the larger riders too. Scooter has literally been to town more miles than most! He has probably been ridden to town…more than he has been home – this one is about as comfy and relaxed in commotion, traffic, and at events – as he is in his own field! He could care less what is going on around him and is as confident as they come in hectic situations. Scooter is a simple point and shoot style ride, has a great stop on “whoa”, and has incredibly smooth and easy to sit gaits. Haflingers don’t come in this color often – and rarely with all the chrome too! Scooter is gorgeous with his eye-catching light golden/almost palomino chestnut color, with his HUGE bright mane and tail – and he has the most adorable endearing personality, he is super friendly and everyone here absolutely loves him. We have not found one thing to complain about with this one, he has an exceptional disposition, is always relaxed, and has spectacular ground manners. Scooter was just shod this past week, his teeth were also done by an equine dentist last week, and he had his sheath cleaned, his ears treated for ticks, and he was also power packed wormed. He is good to shoe, has great feet and also goes well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled and trim him prior to him heading to his new home.
