Scout

Scout is a 15hh, branded, 14 yr old, Stocking legged sorrel Quarter Horse gelding that is well built. Scout has been used on a ranch earlier in his life but for the last 5 years he has been a family trail horse and he has been ridden by all ages. The family used Scout at their churches kid’s summer camp every year for all the kids to ride. He has been ridden in several states from Missouri to Tennessee. He has saw everything possible on the trails including all types of wildlife. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe in traffic safe whether that be trucks or cars. He is safe for any beginner to ride and will help build your confidence. He neckreins around, has a nice lope, good stop and backs. Scout has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Scout is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave and will not try to pull back when he is tied. Here is a nice stout horse with a great mind, don’t miss him!
