Skunk

Skunk is a 5 yr old draft cross dark grey gelding. Stands 14’3h tall weighs about 1100 lbs with thick bone structure. He has the best most easy going personality/temperament that you will find. Not much bothers him, he’s laid back, gentle safe, fun to be around and sound. He is everyone’s best friend and has never met a stranger! He is straight and clean legged and kind eyed. We’ve mainly used Skunk on trails and some on the ranch. He is great on trails, rides thought he brush and rough spots with ease, crosses water, rides though rocky terrain and picks his way though it safely. Skunk is always a thinker and is focused on safety! We have used him around the ranch, to push cattle, do some penning and sorting. We have thrown a rope off of him and he will hold a sizeable steer with no issue. He rides bareback or in a saddle, he’s the type you can mount him where you catch him… just hop on him out in the pasture and ride him back to the barn in a halter, he is jsut that gentle. Skunk is a easy keeper, rides great in groups or by himself. He has no bad habits, tacks up easily, rides off quiet, does not crib or weave. He will fit anyone’s home or program.
