“Sky” – 15.2H, 2019′ chestnut AMHR Morgan gelding… Sky is a unique registered AMHR Morgan gelding – America’s first developed breed! This breed was a huge part of our country and a big part of our history. It is said that you will never find a more enjoyable horse for the soul, than a Morgan. Their friendly people pleasing personality is exceptional. We do not get our hands on these very often!!! These are so sought after for their extremely sweet and kind personality and Sky is no exception. He absolutely loves people and would much prefer with a human than out with his buddies. He is about as not-hear/buddy/barn sour as a horse could come! He would rather be on your front porch stealing your coffee than out playing with the herd. Sky rides extremely well and is naturally about as uncomplicated to operate as they come. Sky guides anywhere you point him easily, he is exceptional in town and out on the trail. He has a big ground covering walk, easy smooth natural foxtrot, exceptionally smooth, soft lope and catches both of his leads, and he has a great huge stop if you just mention “whoa”. Sky seeks attention, but is also very careful, aware of his handler, and always eager to do what he is asked – there is a reason those who know this breed swear by them, these guys have been hand selected for 250 years for their extremely easy to be around dispositions. Morgans are known for their extra stout, strong stature, and Sky is on the large size, even for a Morgan. He would be great for anyone looking for a larger built horse, he will fill out just about anyone’s leg, and be able to comfortably carry just about any size of rider! There are not many specific horse breeds, that Disney made a whole movie out of! Don’t miss out on an opportunity to own one of these amazing horses! Sky was just trimmed last week and he has absolutely excellent feet. His teeth were also just done by an equine dentist two weeks ago – at the same time he had his sheath cleaned, his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power packed wormed. Sky is also good to shoe, but he has great feet and goes really well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be shod, we can have him shod prior to him heading to his new home.
