Slick

Slick is a 13 year old grade quarter horse gelding stands 14.2 hands tall and boasts a really pretty rich red color with just enough chrome to make him flashy. Slick has a really nice build and is an easy keeper. Slick was mainly used as a ranch horse and ridden outside but somewhere along the line someone did some good arena work with him too! Slick is soft in face and knows how to side pass and leg yield both ways, has a great stop- fluid back up and will turn on haunches both ways. Slick will guide around one handed off leg as well and will walk over ground poles, cross over wooden bridges and zig zags through poles and barrels with ease. Slick goes out of the arena like it’s his job, confident about going up and down steep embankments and is fine traveling over rough and uneven terrain. He will walk through water and step over dead fall. Slick is good single tied or on cross ties and is altimeter for grooming and saddling as well as good in the wash rack for a bath. He’s behaved for both the vet and the farrier. Slick loads into any style trailer and hauls great! Slick sells sound with no vices or limitations.
