2018 Sorrel Gelding “Smokin Out Bak” aka Louie is a 15.2hh seasoned ranch horse with a lot of potential to go in different directions. Louie is out of a full brother to “Dont Stopp Believin” (NCHA hall of fame, LTE 463k) Louie has an excellent performance foundation him, is soft in the face and body, with all the buttons for body control, and will work off your seat. Rides in a variety of bits, or a loping hack, and has a nice neck rein handle. Louie has been used extensively on a large ranch operation in the Sandhills of Nebraska, he has done every job from the branding pen, heat detecting, sorting, paring out, riding pens, and putting in long tough days in the hills gathering cattle. Louie has excellent footing in tough terrain and is very dependable navigating steep canyons and draws. Louie has a lot of cowsense, and is extremely handy for working gates, crosses water, and can shoot a dart gun off him for doctoring. He is the perfect balance of being laid back while working calves or riding pens, but has every bit of get up and go to head off a wild yearling. Theres really nothing this gelding wont do for you, and do it well. He has a lot of miles and experience under his cinch.
