Let me introduce one of the most personable and stunning mares we’ve ever met. Rue is registered, 2012 model, standing 14.1 hh. She is the ideal horse for riders of all levels who value a trustworthy and easy to handle riding partner. She is the first horse to greet you in the morning, gets along with all horses, mini horses, donkeys, goats, great around dogs and cats and just a sweet tempered mare and she absolutely loves attention and has an awesome personality. Rues groundwork is extensive. She has been trained from the ground up the correct way and it shows. Rue is very gentle and easy going making her the perfect ride for young and old. She is not pushy, no bad mannerisms or vices. She will lunge, stand cross tied or straight tied, loves to be brushed and braided. She’s barefoot and great for the farrier and vet. Loads and unloads with no issues. She has the smoothest WTC in both directions. Will pick up both leads from a stand still. Under saddle she lines up to the mounting block and stands still while you climb on. Rue has great brakes and is trained off of seat and leg. She will side pass and leg yield off with no hesitation. And as buttoned as she is, she is safe enough to take care of the more timid and novice riders. When it comes to being gentle and safe, Rue is your girl. Whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, she never tries to outthink you and is always willing to get along. She has taught many people how to ride and amazing with the most timid riders. She is the type of horse you can have tied in the barn and have the kids running around and not have to worry about something spooking her or any kind of foolishness. She rides both English and Western. She will go through water, over logs and has been ponied off of. She will ride out solo or with others just fine. She has one blue eye, beautiful piebald markings and the thickest black tail. When it comes to a true all-around mare, Rue checks all the boxes. She is not marish one bit!
