Sue Bear

I am proud to introduce you to “Sue Bear” this is a mare the entire family can enjoy. Sue Bear is 9 years old and stands 16.1hh making her the perfect size for both kids and adult riders alike. Sue Bear is a Percheron Quarter horse cross. She’s a stunning bright bay with a unique blaze on her adorable face. She is the confidence building, babysitter type. This mare has beautiful stout and shapey conformation. She has solid bone structure and great hooves! Sue Bear lives up to her name and is the ultimate teddy bear of a horse. She walk trot and canters with ease. She knows her leads and will pick up the canter from the halt and her breaks are good as well. She is like riding a couch as she’s one of the smoothest girls you will sit on. Sue Bear is a FUN LOVING GIRL, we have found she loves to take her people sledding and loves a good hack in the snow, or grassy fields. She won’t complain if it’s hot or cold outside. She’s game to make the most of some winter activities on a snowy day or head out to the river on the hot summer days! Sue Bear also has extensive miles on the trails. Woods water cracking brush traffic wildlife bikes ect she could care less. She’s a drop the reins enjoy the scenery kinda gal. She has also been started on basic dressage work and knows most lateral movements. She is soft thru the pole and listens well to seat and leg pressure. Sue Bear also loves to jump. Over fences she holds a steady canter and helps her rider find a distance. Overall she’s more whoa than go. She is also extremely well broke to drive. She has been on our Visa Via in the city giving rides, has worked in a team pulling a wagon giving rides in parades, and has also been used on farm equipment. She’s the type to teach you the ropes of driving or one to pair the younger horses with. She’s a true family horse, kids, hubby’s, neighbors that can’t ride but know you have horses this is the one. She has been doubling in our beginner lesson program and has proven to be steady going and dependable!
