Tina’s Drew

Tina’s Drew, aka “Drew,” is a 16.2-hand 2019 Friesian cross gelding. He is registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse and DNA tested. He is very smart and has a pleasing and gentle personality. He is the type of horse that comes when his name is called in the pasture and loves to get attention. You could watch him run all day; he is a very floaty mover with excellent conformation. Drew has been used in lessons with riders of all ages, multiple veteran groups, and our summer camps. He bonds with his people and wants that relationship his calm demeanor makes people fall in love with him. He is a willing boy, always down for whatever we ask! Kids handle him on a regular basis. He has excellent ground manners! No vices. No maintenance. Quiet, easygoing, level-headed, reliable mount, not sensitive skinned, turns out in a large herd of geldings and mares with various personalities and gets along with all. Mid pecking order. Respects all types of fencing. He has a great walk, trot, and canter, side passes, backs up, and knows how to use his body. This boy is fun to ride with a soft mouth and lots of impulsion; his work under saddle is always eager and happy to please. Drew has been in multiple clinics and hauled all over the state. We have had this horse since he was 2 years old! Drew loves trail riding! He has miles of trails under his feet, he will cross any water, ditches or logs you may encounter and go up or down the steepest of hills. Other livestock doesn’t bother him, cows, dogs, sheep, goats, he will make friends with them all. He loads great and will stand patiently tied all day. With his long flowing mane and sharply defined features, he has served as a model for numerous photo sessions. This is a horse you can just get on and go. Stands for the farrier, and vet.
