Vegas is 14.1 hands tall, 8yrs old, pretty and GENTLE. He will win a beauty contest, but isn’t going to win any speed competitions. He is what I would call a bombproof deadhead trailhorse. He would be amazing as a therapy horse, dude ranch horse, leadline, or trail horse for someone not wanting to get anywhere in a hurry. He is unflappable. I’ve had the tiniest of riders on him as you can see at the end of the video. Dogs, tarps, chickens, obstacles, water…nothing phases him. He can go weeks and months without being ridden and is the exact same horse every single time. No warm up is necessary with him. Just jump on and hit the trails. He’s been on trail rides nearby here on Lake Texoma and was a saint. He went in the lake and crossed everything obstacle on the trail without a fuss. He doesn’t have a fancy handle and doesn’t aspire to be an arena horse. He shines on the trails or we truly think he would excel in a therapy horse program. He prefers to walk and trot but will lope if you make him. Vegas will stand tied all day long and never paw, trailers easily, hauls well, hobble broke, bathes, and you can catch him anywhere.
