Say hello to this gorgeous dun roan AQHA registered gelding! Gunsmoke is the most unique roan color with a smokey black head and legs. He has beautiful lineback dun color with roan hairs all throughout his coat. We are so excited to offer this incredible gelding. He is simply one of the best ones that we have ever owned! He stands 15.2 hands tall and he is 9 years old. He’s as wide as he is tall. This guy absolutely loves going to town. He has been all over the country and will go anywhere he is pointed, relaxed, soft, and low headed. Gunsmoke is a trail rider’s dream horse. He has been exposed to huge crowded events, busy downtown streets, rodeos, carried a flag in drill team, been in parades, and trail rode in all kinds of different terrain. Traffic doesn’t bother him at all. He is always the same horse when you swing a leg over him. He is as smooth, uncomplicated, and as well trained as they come. This fancy gelding is extremely honest and easy to ride. Gunsmoke has a reining foundation and knows his leads, has a great one hand neckrein, and a nice stop. He was also used in the roping pen on the head side and he has been used for all kinds of ranch chores. He rides English also! We have used him for beginner up down lessons for kiddos that were just learning how to post because of how smooth his trot is. He has an incredible personality and he is just as sweet, honest, willing, and kind as they come. He even knows some tricks! He will lay down on command.
