Yellowstone

Yellowstone is a palomino appaloosa that is 12 years old, standing 14.3h. This gelding is a kind, gentle gelding who aims to please, has a great brain and color that you won’t find again for a very long time! My 9 year old daughter and her friend have been riding him regularly, always including him in all of their adventures. He is suitable for just about anyone when in regular work, but the timid rider may be nervous as he does have some speed when asked. He’s done everything from drill team to my daughters version of “trick riding”, camping trips, and arena work. He was previously used as a hunter going over 2’ 6” courses. Yellowstone will one hand neck rein or direct rein, responds well to leg, and comes right up into the bridle like one should. Leg yield, side pass, shoulder in, haunches in, turn on the forehand/haunches, goes over/under/through anything. If you point him, be ready to go. New things don’t seem to bother him and he will be the same horse out as he is at home. Stands very well for all cares, my farrier said if all my horses stood as well as he did while burning shoes on he would reduce my rate. He is currently shod in front for trail riding but can be barefoot as well. Stands for mounting whether you have to try 20 times and hang off him or can swing on quick. Loads and hauls well, stands tied for hours without complaint, gets along with anyone you put him with and is a total lover. Sells 100% sound and clean legged.
