Cody

Wow take a look at Cody, he is some kind of pretty! Cody is a stout built Gypsy Vanner Cross gelding standing around 14.2hh, he is very stout built, he is 6 years old, and is a buckskin with all black points! Looks aside, Cody has it all… he loves attention as his super friendly, he is fancy broke and is very calm natured. Cody came from a good friend of ours that has owned him since he was coming 2. He broke him to ride and for the last year his kids ages 6-9 have been using him to ride to school everyday. It’s about a 4.5 mile ride down a fairly busy road and Cody has never made a bobble with them. Cody has also been through the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, he will bow, lay down and set on his rump. In addition to that Cody has had 60 days of reining training, he has a big stop and spins circles both ways. He has also been started on the heel side for roping and has drug calves to the fire at brandings. Cody has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 5 year old. Cody is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog and a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
