Denali

Denali, is a picture perfect, pitch black, 2011 Registered Friesian Sport Horse gelding. Denali stands the ideal height of 15.3H and boasts a great amount of bone and shape. He has a big hip, beautiful neck, solid black coat and a way of moving that truly makes him stand out. Denali has been in our program for eight months furthering his education in the arena as well as racking up some outside miles. Prior to coming to our program, although we don’t know all the specifics of his history, we do know for certain he was used to drive in the fields consistently and has seen tons of traffic and trail miles. Between his field work and road miles he is well broke to drive both single and double. Under saddle in the arena, Denali is well schooled to work off your leg, seat and has become great at lateral movement and proper engagement. He is EXTREMELY smooth to ride at the trot and the lope, soft on your hands and very soft to your leg. Due to this we recommend a rider that has a soft hand and understands a sensitive horse. He has a solid half pass at trot, side passes, a great counter bend and riding one handed in the bridle more consistently each day. Denali has the potential to be an incredible Dressage prospect with his ability and feel in his collection, as well as his ability to move out and engage. Outside the arena he is comfortable riding in the woods, through the fields, crossing water and ponying a horse or two. He is extremely smart, enjoys bonding with his human and is a true gentleman on the ground and a pleasure to have around. Denali is a very easy keeper. He doesn’t require any sort of maintenance or special care of any kind. He stalls great , enjoys his turnout and gets along with most any herd. He cross ties, baths, trailers, stands wonderfully for the farrier, tacks up like a seasoned pro and stands like a brick wall for mounting. Denali has had extensive ground work and has a phenomenal foundation laid if you choose to continue with his Liberty training. Denali is a bright eyed and happy horse, eager to be with people and will always greet you at the gate or will come to you when called. Denali is ready for his future in his new home and is up to date on his coggins, chiropractic work, farrier and has recently had his teeth done.
