Dip ‘n Dots

Whoever was blending this gelding’s genetics was feeling extra generous and gave him maximum style points! Dip n’ Dots is a 16H, 6yo, dark Buckskin w/ blanket, Friesian x Appaloosa gelding and exhibits the best of both breeds. He’s brave and proud like a Friesian but friendly and in-your-pocket like your classic childhood Appy. Dip came from a breeder in Naples and was re-homed after his breeder fell ill. He was given the chance to grow and allow his bones to mature before being started under-saddle at 5yo. Because of that, his PPE flexions are flawless and available to be seen on video, just ask and we’ll send over a DropBox link! Dip had plenty of ground-work so he is fully verbal on the lunge and under-saddle, along with being a master at cavaletti/pole work. He is walking, trotting and cantering under-saddle with just a simple Mullen. He was started classically so this dude is chiller than chill and so soft in the aids! He’s a gentleman on the ground but definitely loves it if you allow him to edge the sidewalk, he’s a fantastic landscaper! Except that he’ll knock over all of your garden statues and relocate your hose… He parks at the mounting block and always waits for his sugar tax before beginning a ride so no worries about taking 20min to find your stirrups and readjusting your entire wardrobe before being ready. This guy is your typical goofy gelding and will fall asleep for grooming and doesn’t even need to be tied to tack up. His favorite activity is hanging out because humans are his preferred companion and will make friendship bracelets with you alllll day (not kidding). When he is with horses, he needs to be with assertive herd-mates because he just loves to play and needs someone to tell him to go color in the corner by himself sometimes. Mr. DipDip is fully up to date on all his pokes n’ prods, noggins, dental and hoof trims (barefoot and strong like a typical Friesian!). He loads and trailers just fine but if you ask him, he’d really like a big, comfy, climate-controlled box stall on his way to your house. Once he’s there, finish him as a fancy dressage pony, a brave hunter or the world’s flashiest ranch horse.
