Forrest

Forrest, aka Big Sexy, is a big and handsome 11 year old, 15.3hh Friesian Cross gelding. He has a kind and expressive eye and is the type of horse who wants to be your friend. Big sexy is so much like an over grown puppy, he’ll follow you all over the pasture and even come when called. He truly is a best friend type of horse! Forrest has great ground manners and will tie patiently all day long. He will cross tie, ground tie, bathe, clip, load and hauls like a dream. He stalls beautifully. Anyone can groom, lead, and handle him on the ground. Patience with dogs running around and you can crawl underneath him and through his legs. Big Sexy is extremely kind, gentle and just a joy to be around. He is easy to catch outside and plays well with other horses. Forrest walks, trots, canters, knows his leads, and moves off your seat and leg. He will also move through his gaits off of your voice and does very well on his transitions. We have only ridden him in a snaffle and hackamore. He would definitely make a great dressage horse. Forrest has been my daughter personal horse for the last four years (she’s going to college) and she primarily used him for trail riding. Big Sexy needs a confident intermediate rider due to the fact the he is more woah than go. He is sound, healthy and UTD on all cares, vetting, farrier, teeth (Jan 2023), panacur powerpac (Feb 2023), and performance exam for soundness.
