Jake

Meet Jake! This guy may as well be from State Farm as he’s as safe as can be! Jake is a 5 yo, 14.1hh welsh quarter pony cross gelding. Jake is absolutely as dependable as you will find. He is extremely broke to walk, trot, and canter. His gaits are slow and steady. Jake has fantastic transitions both up and down and his brakes are amazing. Kids as young as 5 years old have ridden him independently. He is extremely easy with no tricks up his sleeve. Jake will listen to the tiniest of riders. He stands like a rock for grooming, tacking, saddling, mounting, and dismounting. He was an asset in our lesson program as he is a very kind and patient teacher. He jumps around full courses with flying changes. He has been shown in several open shows and needs no preparation in a new environment. Outside, Jake gets along with others and he is easy to catch in any sized field. Jake also drives like a dream. On the trails, he’s steady and unflappable. In the woods, water, open fields, cars, traffic, all are no problem for him. Jake has been through our desensitization program and will not shy from tarps, bridges, water, noodles, or even blow up unicorns! He’s a fantastic size as the littles can grow into him and adults can still ride him. He’s only for sale as our lesson program is undergoing a re-location process. Jake lives in Howell, MI 48855.
