Tuco

Horses like Tuco come along once every lifetime or so. Some people may compare him to other great equine legends like Alexander the Great’s Bucephalus, Napoleon Bonaparte’s Marengo, or Hercules’ Pegasus! Tuco stands 15.3 and is %100 sound in every way! I’ve hauled and rode this gelding for jousting, rodeos, trail rides, renaissance fairs, and other play-days! He is well seasoned to all the traffic of vehicles, other horses, cattle, and even buffalo. Tuco has the handle of a true bridle horse and is soft and supple in your hand and also moves softly and quietly off of your leg queues. He has an excellent turn around and amazing side passes! In his videos you can see how he rides through a course set up for working equitation, and also while I handle a garrocho pole from him! My nine year old son has often ridden him to bring back cattle in the arena when we are roping and also to trail ride. Tuco is very brave anywhere he is and crossing obstacles like water, logs, and bridges are of no consequence to him. My wife has also enjoyed this wonderful steed and rides him in English tack while she is hacking around the roads and fields near our house. He is well acquainted with cattle and buffalo as I’ve roped many steers on him in the arena and a few outside while they were running loose. His manners on the ground are flawless and consistently quiet. He loads, shoes, bathes, and clips quietly and patiently with no trouble at all.
